GENERAL

  • Evolve’s objective is to make yoga accessible for practitioners at all levels. We offer a Foundations of Asana class 2x per week so beginners can learn the basics in a judgment-free space with other yogis beginning journeys of their own. After completing several Foundations sessions, you will be ready to graduate to Hatha and Vinyasa classes. Yin and Restorative yoga is also appropriate for all yogis.

  • We are located at 1009 N. Dixie Hwy West Palm Beach, Fl 33401 (between 9th & 10th Streets). There are front and rear entrances and parking is available at the locations bordered in RED. A Bike/Scooter rack is positioned near the front doorway.

  • We ask that you cancel your yoga booking at least 2 hours before class, so we can accommodate members on the waitlist. Wellness Spa reservations should be removed at least 12 hours before your appointment. Health Coaching sessions require 24-hours notice for cancellations. While we do not charge a fee, serial offenders will be placed on double secret probation 🙂.

YOGA CLASSES

  • You can sign up for any yoga class at this link, or by downloading the Walla mobile app (Apple or Google). Explore the schedule, select the class you want to attend, and hit “Book”. Follow the on-screen instructions

  • If you are joining a Hatha, Restorative, or Yin class we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that will not restrict your transition to new positions. For Vinyasa, athletic clothing is highly recommended, as you will be moving, grooving, and sweating buckets. While we rent (and sell) yoga matts, we recommend bringing your own, as well as a towel and liquids (both available for purchase).

  • Our studios are heated, which promotes a variety of health benefits including detoxification, flexibility, and circulation, to name a few. We offer classes in two formats…warm, where the studio temperature is set at 85 degrees, and hot, calibrated at 95.

  • It’s very distracting to other yogis when someone enters the studio after class has begun. Therefore, we have a strict 5 minute rule, at which point no late arrivals will be permitted to enter the room.

  • Mysore is the self-practice method of Ashtanga Yoga, a vinyasa system with a set sequence of postures.

    The instructor teaches and guides students on a one-on-one basis, like a private lesson within the group setting.

    Students work on the sequence as they have learned it at their own pace, directing their yoga independently of the other students.

    This method allows students to give attention to their practice where and how it is needed. It allows for investigation, modification, and care toward physical restrictions, imbalances, and injuries.

    Suitable for all levels of experience and ability, even absolute beginners, as long as you are willing to put in the effort and attention.

HEALTH & WELLNESS COACHING

  • From Harvard Medical School:

    Unlike health fads that come and go, health coaching has strong evidence behind it backing its effectiveness for improving health and well-being. Coaching is effective for people managing a variety of health conditions. According to a recent study, coaching “results in clinically relevant improvements in multiple biomarker risk factors (including systolic and diastolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting glucose, body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, and cardiorespiratory fitness) in diverse populations.”

RECOVERY / SPA

  • You can sign up for an infrared/cold plunge session at this link, or by downloading the Walla mobile app (Apple or Google). Explore the available slots (offered in 35 increments), select the time you want, and hit “Book”. Follow the on-screen instructions

  • Our knowledgeable staff will provide detailed instructions for first-timers. We recommend using the infrared sauna 3 - 4 times per week for 15 - 30 minutes. Cold plunge, 2 - 3 times per week for 1 - 5 minutes.
